The Sensory Delights Dinner Series aims to take your night out to another level. And that’s exactly what our very own Cutthroat Kitchen contestant Chef Alain Lemaire delivered on Valentine’s Day weekend. Sensory Delights Catering, a South Florida catering company offered their guests a complete evening out by setting the tone in a non-traditional setting.
The menu of the evening was inspired by love and passion and consisted of:
Braised Pork Shoulder | Spicy Pickled Vegetables | Sour Orange-Soy Glaze
Roasted Beets | Pickled Shallots | Herbed Goat Cheese | Crisp Arugula
White Truffle Boniato Purée | Roasted Tomato Confit
Cream Cheese Rum Glaze | Fresh Berries
The Gallery at the Little Haiti Cultural Center in Miami was turned into both a welcome lounge and dining space. As guests arrived, they were welcomed by the signature cocktail of the night, the Sparkling Kiss. During the cocktail hour, they nibbled on savory hors d’oeuvres, opening up their appetite for the meal to come. The menu was carefully crafted to awaken the senses at all levels. Love was in the air, and undoubtedly in the food. Musical entertainment was provided by Guy Michel and Alex Lucien of GMNI, a dynamic duo of a Cellist and DJ creating a unique blend of World Music. The Sensory Delights team wanted to depart from the usual crowded Valentine’s Day setting. By setting one long royal table with plenty of room between seats, guests were able to interact with each other, while also choosing to remain in their own private bubble.
